Eric’s primary goal at August Hill is to provide companies with the support they need to scale faster than they could on their own. Eric’s entrepreneurial passion and institutional experience allows him to partner with leadership and help them maximize their company’s potential.

Prior to founding August Hill, Eric was the Chief Operating Officer of Revantage, Blackstone’s Real Estate Corporate Services. Revantage provides best in class managed services such as Legal & Insurance, Finance, HR, Valuations, and Technology. Eric was responsible for overseeing both the day-to-day operations along with business development and client relations.

Prior to joining Revantage, Eric spent 12 years as Senior Vice President, Equity Trading Services at Goldman Sachs in New York. He was responsible for developing a global operations strategy, supporting multiple trading businesses through operations, technology, and strategic programs. He also built and managed several of Goldman Sachs’ Operations shared services teams in Salt Lake City, Utah and Bangalore, India.

Additionally, Eric owns an alternative investment firm that strategically acquires, invests, and founds companies within the real estate, healthcare, and financial services space. This allows Eric the opportunity to stay on top of industry trends, participate in private equity financing, and understand the challenges business owners face in the current environment.

Eric works closely with over a dozen public & private community organizations within Chicago, Cleveland, & Salt Lake City. Child nutrition, internet access, and affordable STEM education are a focal point of Eric’s time and financial commitment to under supported areas and families.
